The club has a constitution, a Treasurers account with RBS and annual accounts.
It requires, as constituted, a member of the Community Council and a member of Baldernock Parish Church to run the Club
Members pay £1 per meeting. The membership varies, at the moment it is nineteen. Outings are usually topped up 27 -28 by the Friends of the Monday Club.
The Club was founded as a joint venture between the Parish Church and the Community Council.
When the new Community Council was formed, not this session but the previous one, the Council was unable, at that time, to nominate a representative to help with the running of the Club. George Campbell volunteered to continue on a temporary basis. Many years have passed and nobody has yet been nominated.
George is no longer prepared to go on running the club.
If the Community Council cannot find someone to take over running the club it will have to be wound up and some other means of assisting the elderly in Baldernock will have to be found. If nobody volunteers, the Club will be suspended until such time as a name comes forward.
